The non squared man
As part of Beckmans College of Design’s project Fashion Collaboration, where fashion students collaborate and interpret existing fashion brands, I was asked to interpret Roland Hjort’s iconic brand Whyred. The collection was inspired by my fantasy around being a father and the paternity leave (Sweden has a mandatory 3 month long paternity leave). I wanted to give the Whyred man comfortable yet still sharp looking options to his everyday life as a stay-at-home dad. My goal was to create products for the contemporary man. A man who is not afraid of a softer look and more feminine materials.
